  1. Congrats Scuba Steve.

When you look back at this in two years, you will be glad that you went through the process.

The discernment is part of the growth.

P.S. Don’t screw up their lighting system over there, they might eat ya.

You’ve got your daily work cut out for you, and you’ll do it with the same aplomb and quiet strength that we’ve seen here. I’ll miss you my friend, but God is blessing the community of Madang by sending you to them.

Have fun, take lots of pictures, wear funny clothes and hats, laugh, say your prayers, teach, and be a good boy.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

    • One of the good things about our internet world is that next-door and next-quadrasphere can seem to be almost equivalent. God willing and the creek don’t rise, I’ll have adequate access to be able to keep in touch for all our little word games. Next time we meet, the pan galactic gargle blasters are on me. But only if you bring your towel.

  3. Steve, I just wanted to stop by and say best wishes on the newest leg of your journey. You’ll do an amazing job and you’ll be doing such rewarding work. Of course fear accompanies any major decision. All we can do is trust that The Lord is leading us on the right path. I’ll definitely add you to my prayer list and pray in a special way for you when I visit Rome later this month. May the Blessed Mother intercede for you and may the Holy Spirit continue to guide you in all you do. Peace, Tom

  5. God bless you on this endeavor, Steve. I admire your decision and dedication. I’ll miss your presence when I listen to CW, but look forward to your updates via social media.
You’ll be in my prayers. Happy Holidays!

  6. Hey there! I’ve been in the whirlwind of launching my daughter this week into the home-buying and moving-in excitement, but I’m so glad that I get a chance to stand with the others here and elsewhere who are wishing you well and sending you off with all our prayers!

You go! And send us a few words when you can from the other side of “be not afraid”!

  7. Cant wait to hear about your adventure! May God keep you in the palm of his hand, and may his blessings guide you on this wonderful journey in which you will touch many lives. Godspeed my dear friend.
