Fr. Bryan’s Ordination

Yesterday I had the great privilege of attending the ordination of my friend (now) Fr. Bryan Ketterer to the priesthood for the Diocese of Tulsa.

My vantage point was poor for the few photos that I managed to take, but I will attest to a feeling of great spirit and joy throughout.

Not more than an hour after his ordination was finished, Fr. Bryan celebrated his first Mass at the nearby Church of Christ the King.    In true Catholic form, many of the people who had just finished one two-hour Mass, showed up for the next one.

Thankfully, it was followed by a very nice reception and barbecue dinner.  A great time was had by all, reminiscing of the many good times we’ve shared with Fr. Bryan in the past and praying for many more to come.
